Wifi6 <-> Wifi4 Speed
AP1: Turris Omnia (802.11ax - Wifi6)
AP2: TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 (802.11n - Wifi4) - this one is kind of old, but works well with OpenWRT
Both with OpenWRT, AP1 in AP mode, AP2 in relay bridge mode, 2.4Ghz, 20Mhz channel. Through two walls and height difference of ~3 meters and the distance is ~5 meters.
Result:
-
Signal: -69 dBm Noise: -95 dBm which is relatively bad signal - ~50Mbit/s with
iperf3
- while not crazily fast, this is good for normal web browsing and networking.
No chance to get it to work in 5Ghz.
