The Invincible

The Invincible are, along with Fort Solis, two slow space games I played last year.

I think this genre is called walking simulator. The story is based before the book The Invincible published in 1964. The goal is quite simple, to find out what happened, the main heroine Yasna explores the planet and talks with astrogator, a guy who stayed on the orbit. There are tough situations, weird organism on the planet, people going crazy or lose the memory.

I liked this, the graphics is great, walking around and talking about philosophical topics is also great. The game is a bit rough around the edges, a bit simple, sometimes nothing much happens, especially in the City part. But the athmosphere and the world is so good, I liked old analog technology and voice acting is great.

I noticed my screenshots don’t capture the variability of the game, but that’s all I got.
