Opus - https://opus-codec.org/ - versatile audio coder for both music and voice
FLAC - https://xiph.org/flac/ - high quality lossless like WAV, but compressed

Firefox - https://firefox.com - I use this, living relatively far from the tentacles of Google
Chrome - https://www.google.com/chrome/ - Google’s poster boy, also base for many other browsers and embedded web windows and Electron. Or software using Blink engine
Microsoft Edge - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge - they switched to Chromium as base, but added Microsoft services to it
Opera - https://www.opera.com/ - also Chromium based these days, owned by weird Chinese companies and I woulnd’t trust it much. They always try to implement current cool technology. My favorite browser long time ago (Opera 5 - 9)
Brave - https://brave.com/ - many people mention this, never used it. Supposedly secure and privacy focused browser. For monetization it replaces referral links in pages and uses some weird blockchain token

IceCat - https://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/ - GNU fork of Firefox which is meant to be free software. Great browser, I used it on Android for a long time, but sucks they cannot seem to be able to release a new stable version
Pale Moon - https://www.palemoon.org/ - Firefox fork supporting NPAPI, XUL
Thorium - https://thorium.rocks/ - fork of Chromium, compiled with optimizations, even have JPEG-XL support which Google threw away from Chrome
